Summary of Position:
The Strategic Account Executive – B2B Growth & Retention plays a keyrole in driving new revenue while nurturing and expanding existing clientrelationships. You’ll promote Corporate Image Group’s products and services toprospective customers, and also lead ongoing engagement efforts throughquarterly business reviews (QBRs), retention initiatives, and cross-functionalcollaboration. This role combines strategic sales, relationship development,and account management.

The ideal candidate is a proactive, customer-focused professional who canbuild strong customer relationships, and is equally skilled at developing newopportunities and growing existing accounts.

Job Duties Include:

  • New Business Development:
       
    • Actively search for new business opportunities through networking, outreach, and market research.
    •  
    • Manage outbound omnichannel communications (cold calling, emailing, content-driven marketing, networking events).
    •  
    • Move leads through the sales funnel: from initial outreach to demo, proposal, negotiation, and closing.
    •  
    • Schedule and lead discovery meetings and demos, collaborating with internal teams for support.
    •  
    • Coordinate with Corporate Image Group departments to align on requirements, onboarding, and delivery for new clients.
    •  
    • Prepare and present sales reports, performance metrics, and funnel data; make strategic adjustments accordingly.
  •  
  • Client Retention & Expansion:
       
    • Act as the key point of contact for assigned clients, maintaining regular touchpoints.
    •  
    • Lead Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) with clients to assess satisfaction, uncover upsell/cross-sell opportunities, and ensure value realization.
    •  
    • Partner with Marketing, Account Management, and Tech teams to improve the client experience and address evolving needs.
    •  
    • Monitor client health and identify at-risk accounts early; build action plans for retention.
    •  
    • Support renewal processes and proactively pursue client expansion initiatives.
  • Events & Travel:
       
    • Attend customer conferences, trade shows, and industry events to represent the brand.
    •  
    • Travel is required (Up to 10-15% required annually)
    •  
    • Build and maintain relationships to supportretention and business development
  • Sales Enablement & Strategy:
       
    • Stay current on Corporate Image Group products, services, and capabilities.
    •  
    • Maintain a deep understanding of competitive offerings and industry trends.
    •  
    • Develop and manage client-facing materials such as sales collateral, pitch decks, and demo content.
    •  
    • Participate in managing CRM systems; ensure data accuracy and pipeline visibility.

Qualifications:

  • Outgoing personality and high level of comfort with proactive outreach.
  • Strong consultative sales skills and relationship development experience.
  • Proven success in a complex B2B selling environment.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
  • Skilled in CRM and lead generation platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator).
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • 7+ years of sales experience in a customer-facing, consultative sales role.
  • Demonstrated ability to close complex deals and manage long-term client relationships.
  • Bonus experience:
       
    • Familiarity with print, promo, branded apparel, or online company store development.
